Skin Laundry · Principal Product Manager
Feb 2023 – Present
promoted from Technical Product Manager
Lead product across clinician and client systems for 55+ clinics, 400+ staff, 21k members, and ~60k monthly appointments. Manage a team of 12 across product, design, engineering, QA, and DevOps, and a ~$1M annual budget.
- Built Skin Laundry's first end-to-end treatment-efficacy system, combining SkinScript (concern and treatment-plan capture), a Perfect Corp AI integration (co-developed Fitzpatrick skin typing and per-photo skin scoring), and Progress Reviews (adherence and outcome tracking) into an integrated feedback loop at scale (>90% SkinScript adoption) that powered a “data moat” investor narrative.
- Doubled new-client capacity across 55+ clinics by redesigning the medical-eligibility approval workflow for NPs/PAs, with a unified multi-clinic queue and completion-gated notifications. Cut time-to-approve from 15 to 2 minutes, per-approval clinician cost from $14 to $7, consults from 30 to 15 minutes, and doubled pre-appointment intake completion (15% to 30%).
- Traced a 25-point booking-conversion drop (90% to 60%) via Sentry to a Zenoti vendor release, then shipped a refactored integration (restructured payload and retry logic) that restored conversion, and secured release-notification access to catch upstream changes earlier.
- Quantified previously untracked medical-compliance gaps with new dashboards, secured VP Medical and Director of Compliance buy-in, and shipped a coordinated response (intake routing for contraindications, booking-side gating, provider chart summaries), cutting new-client incomplete-chart rates ~20% over six consecutive months.
- Established A/B testing as a capability by designing the company's first formal experiment (credit-card capture at new-client booking) and leading the decision to leave it off when data showed pipeline-volume loss outweighed no-show and late-cancel recovery.
- Built Skin Laundry's AI Adoption Gameplan with COO/CDAO sponsorship and proved it out by building agent-based PM workflows (deck-creation skill, Asana/Jira automation, scheduled daily brief), freeing capacity for rollout planning and team upskilling.
